Who We Are
The InterSchool Orchestras of New York brings young instrumentalists together for inclusive, ensemble-based music making in a friendly environment. With six youth orchestras and two symphonic bands, virtually all young musicians will find the right place for themselves to create beautiful music with their peers.
Nearly 350 musicians
ages 6-19 play in ISO’s eight ensembles
Over 52% of ISO’s players
receive financial aid or scholarship
Over 60% of ISO’s players
come from public or charter schools
