The ISO Concert Orchestra is a youth orchestra for musicians with advanced-intermediate level technical and sight-reading skills. Lead by Lawrence C. Markiewicz, the ensemble performs annually in halls like Symphony Space, Lincoln Center and throughout New York City.  An audition is required for membership, as are registration and tuition fees. This orchestra is perfect for the developing player who is ready to take on more challenging repertoire. An annual concerto competition is held each winter for members of the Concert Orchestra. The winners perform at Concert Orchestra’s final concert of the year.

Fall Repertory Includes

Beethoven, Coriolan Overture

Grieg, Aase’s Death (from Peer Gynt Suite)

Strauss, Unter Donner Und Blitz
