ISO Wind Symphony at Third Street

Symphonic Band performs Memorial Day Concert at Green-Wood Cemetery

Members of the ISO Wind Symphony at Third Street, led by founder and Music Director Brian P. Worsdale, explore the exciting world of band literature. This unique ensemble consists of advanced-intermediate and advanced- level wind, brass and percussion players. In addition to many community concerts, the symphony performs in New York City’s major concert halls. Membership is by audition. Good technical and sight-reading skills are required. Members of the Wind Symphony may also play in an appropriate ISO orchestra and orchestra members may join the Wind Symphony.

In residence at Third Street Music School Settlement

Founded in 1894, Third Street Music School Settlement is the nation’s longest-running community music school, providing quality arts education to students of all ages, socio-economic backgrounds and artistic abilities.
