Carnegie Hill Orchestra Assembly

The Carnegie Hill Orchestra, led by Steven Rochen, is a youth orchestra comprised of musicians at a beginning-intermediate level. This ensemble performs both original orchestrations and arrangements. Music theory and ensemble skills are reinforced at each session. Performances include concerts at Symphony Space, Lincoln Center, as well as community concerts and in-school assemblies. This orchestra prepares students for advancement to the Concert Orchestra.

An audition is required for membership, as are registration and tuition fees.  The Carnegie Hill orchestra rehearses Mondays 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the Centennial Memorial Temple Railton Hall.  130 W 14th St, New York, NY 10011.
